As you hike through stunning Andean landscapes, take in the serene beauty of the mountains. Upon reaching the lagoon, be captivated by its vibrant azure waters and participate in a meaningful Inca ceremony. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before continuing for another hour to the trailhead at 4,400 m / 14,436 ft. From here, embark on a 3-hour ascent to the stunning Rainbow Mountain viewpoint (5,030 m / 16,503 ft), marveling at the vibrant mineral-rich colors of the Andes and the breathtaking Red Valley. Take in the awe-inspiring snow-capped peaks and unique geological formations before descending for 1.5 hours back to the trailhead. Board the bus to return to Cusipata for a delicious buffet lunch, then head back to Cusco, arriving around 4:00 PM.
