In Ollantaytambo, hop on the National Expedition Tourist Train for a stunning 1-hour 45-minute ride to Aguas Calientes, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. From here, embark on a 3-hour ascent to the stunning Rainbow Mountain viewpoint (5,030 m / 16,503 ft), marveling at the vibrant mineral-rich colors of the Andes and the breathtaking Red Valley. Take in the awe-inspiring snow-capped peaks and unique geological formations before descending for 1.5 hours back to the trailhead.
