On this day, we will commence our Machu Picchu tour early in the morning. After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we will head to the station to board the bus for a 30-minute drive to the magnificent Machu Picchu Citadel. Once we arrive, a guided tour will provide insights into the most significant sites within Machu Picchu, including its temples and palaces. After the guided portion, you will have free time to explore the citadel at your own pace. (Optional: You can hike Huayna Picchu for an additional $65 USD per person.) At the appropriate time, we will descend from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy lunch at one of the many local restaurants. In the afternoon, we will board the train back to Cusco.
