Nuestro guía fue muy amable y compartió con nosotros información y detalles que hicieron la experiencia más significativa. Great value! Ruben was super communicative, so pick up morning of was really easy. He also told great stories on the hike up! Overall, really incredible value with roundtrip transport + two meals (restaurant and their staff were wonderful--capped off the day with pisco sours on the house).

We went with Victor who is super nice and thoughtful. The rainbow mountain is impressive and definitely worth your time. I also like the food provided during the trip, the chef and his crew was super nice. Make sure you eat a lot of protein for the breakfast so that you have energy for the hiking. Of course, the hiking part is hard, you can pay extra to ride the horse (make sure you have cash). I hiked up by myself and enjoyed horse riding on my way down (uphill costs 60 soles and downhill costs 40 soles) . On our way back, we had pisco sour after our lunch, we paid our tribute and respect to pacha mama, that was a peaceful and mindful moment for me. We would definitely recommend this trip if you are coming to Cusco.

We had a great time during this tour! The view was amazing. The guide was very thoughtful and insisted carrying my bag for me when I was tired. The breakfast and lunch included were very nice too and very clean restaurant. There were some accident at the Lima airport so some flights were cancelled. We were very about our upcoming flight tomorrow, and the tour guide was kind enough to take us to the airport on the way back to ask more about the situation. Great experience. Totally recommend. Ruben was great and made sure we had all we needed for the trip: pickup, food, hiking poles, blankets for the bus and snacks. We went up in a steady pace with multiple breaks. The views at the top are fantastic, once in a lifetime experience and one of the best tours we did while in Peru. Thanks a lot Ruben.

This experience was one of the best experiences we could have hoped for in our trip to Peru. Even before booking, I had a couple of questions and he answered them promptly and professionally. It started early when he picked us up from our hotel. On the drive, he stopped at the best bread shop in all of Cusco for our breakfast. We had a quick breakfast and off we went. He even packed a bag of snacks and goodies. The drive was beautiful, as well as the walk. It is a long and grueling 3 hour hike well above the altitude I'm used to, but he made it easy, constantly attending to our needs, giving us motivation. I would not have been able to do this without Ruben.

If taking a day trip to Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain) is on your checklist while in Peru, go with Ruben!! He was hands down the best guide I had during my entire time in Peru. He was well prepared with hiking poles for all to use and with medicine to help everyone who had trouble with the altitude. He let everyone go at their own pace and gave everyone plenty of time to take pictures once we made it to the top. The meals were yummy and plentiful and I really appreciated how genuine he seemed to care when I was struggling on my way to the top. I do not recommend doing this on your first or second day in Cusco but if you have no other option, sign up and just take it slow. Take a couple of soles to have your passport stamped when you get near the top!! Thank you, Ruben!!

Our guides were amazing! They were very patient on our hike, they made sure we made it to the top of the mountain and NEVER rushed us. On the contrair, told us to take our time and always went back for the last person, which was us, kept in touch with the group ndd made sure we were safe. BEST experience and AMAZING guides! Wouldn't have wanted it any other way. On our way up the mountain we saw other tour groups yelling at their group, telling them to hurry up, and this is not an easy hike. I was so happy to have the tour guides we had because they were extremely patient and so welcoming and knowledgeable about the mountains, the area, and the history. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The trip to the Rainbow Mountain with Ruben was awesome! Communication before the trip was great, he responded quickly. He took really good care of us providing us breakfast, snacks and lunch (everything delicious) and asking how we were doing (the trip is mostly curvy). He was always nice and very patient with us during the trek to the mountain, it was a really thought walk, we had to do many stops and he never rushed us. He was also very knowledgeable about the Inca culture, we learned so much. The group was small (7) so we had the chance to have great conversations and ask questions. I would definitely take a tour with him again if we visit Cusco again. The best tour we’ve done so far. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had the best time with our small group and Ruben’s crew. Although many of us were wary of the hike, as we had read challenging things about the hike itself, Ruben and his team alleviated our concerns and were incredibly helpful, motivating, and genuinely kind throughout the whole experience. We truly could not have asked for a better overall experience! Ruben’s team was thoughtful about everything, they picked us up in the morning, gave us snacks for the day, took us to a lovely breakfast place, provided us with some cultural knowledge, gave us advice on dealing with certain issues during the hike, and never pushed us to go faster during the hike. His team encouraged a slow and steady pace to acclimatize to the elevation. We highly recommend this tour!

Rubén is a great guide, very patient and very composed. He was so nice we were honestly surprised in the best way possible. If you can book the rainbow mountain with Ruben, you know that for sure you’re going to summit. Ruben was very helpful with my father who was a little bit out of shape and had difficulties breathing. I was specially claimed because I knew that Ruben always carried a bottle of oxygen in case it was needed. Honestly the best experience I’ve had in Airbnb and such a beautiful place. He provided us with snacks, water and a delightful breakfast and dinner. He also gave us trekking poles which helped a lot and are a necessity that most guides don’t provide and if they do, they don’t give you the quality of the ones that Ruben Gives you. Would’ve given Ruben 100 stars/5 if it was possible. Honestly the best guide to do the Rainbow mountain with, very known with the locals too. thank you Ruben!!
